Easter EggsTaken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT and Tamron AF 90mm Di Macro Lens at .3sec and f/16.

Tonight we acted like children and colored Easter eggs.

Neither of us really celebrate Easter – Mr. Photo will be working while I attend the Annual Easter Brunch, which is primarily an excuse to make and eat good food. And jellybeans.

For brunch, I will be making Miso-Glazed Asparagus, which if I am lucky, I will be able to share with all of my loyal readers. I’ll be setting up part of my “studio” tonight so that I can hopefully get some shots of the asparagus before I have to run out the door with it. If we have some strong sunlight in the morning, I should get some good light from the window – otherwise, I’ll be cobbling together every lamp I can find in the house to act as studio lights. I expect to invest in some real studio lighting before too long – I’m looking at a single light kit with an umbrella that looks like something I can handle storing.

If the storage facility where we have a room weren’t so far away, I’d look into renting one to use as a studio. Seriously – open up the door all the way for light, stash a table and backgrounds in there, and voila, a workable studio. Just needs power to run extra lighting if needed.

More soon, I promise.
